Fluoroscopy Department

The hospital features fluoroscopy system by Siemens Healthcare (AXIOM ICONOS R200). The image quality it provides is high because it is a digital image resulting from the proper adjustment of the irradiation elements. During the fluoroscopy, it is possible to choose from four (4) sizes of image amplifier (28.7, 20.5, 15.5, 11.9 cm). There is also the possibility of digital radiography (digital radiography), and radiographic cassette using phosphorus (computed radiography). With the company's specialized software (Siemens Syngo), it enables the post-processing of images produced.

In addition, the fluoroscopy system has state-of-the-art technology that focuses on minimizing the dose received by the examinee without compromising the image quality of the examination. The machine has a special program for adjusting the quality and quantity of radiation used for each examinee individually, thus protecting both the examinee and the laboratory staff (i.e. technologist, physician).
